The video outlines the positive response to the proposed changes to the school day, including a later start time and split breaks, and explains our plans to become a phone-free school through the introduction of personal phone pouches for all students.

Find out how these changes will support learning, wellbeing, and the overall experience for our students.

We are delighted to celebrate another outstanding achievement by our Year 9 student, Ayesha, who recently won two gold medals at a karate competition held earlier this term. This is a fantastic accomplishment, and we are incredibly proud of her dedication, hard work, and success.

This success adds to an already incredible year for Ayesha. Earlier this year, she represented her country at the World Martial Arts Championships in Oslo, Norway, where she achieved a remarkable total of nine medals:

Kingsway Park High School Achieves Bronze Inclusive Attendance Award!

We are delighted to announce that Kingsway Park High School has been awarded the Bronze Accreditation as part of the Inclusive Attendance Standard Programme™.
This recognised framework celebrates schools that demonstrate excellence in inclusive attendance practice and a commitment to ensuring every child feels safe, valued, connected and motivated to attend school.
The Bronze Award recognises the dedication of our staff in developing a culture where attendance is everyone's responsibility and where pupils are supported to thrive.
A huge thank you to Mrs Khan, Ms Proffit, Mrs Bhudia, and all our staff for their commitment and contribution to attendance, which has helped us achieve this important milestone.
This programme, supported by Rochdale Council, has seen a number of schools across the borough working towards accreditation this year. We are proud to be among them and are excited to continue our journey towards Silver Accreditation next year.

Well done to everyone involved!

Year 11 Leavers' Assembly

Our Year 11 Leavers' Assembly, held on Monday 15 June 2026, was a memorable occasion filled with laughter, reflection and a few tears as we celebrated a truly remarkable year group.

Students listened to heartfelt speeches from Ms A. Saville, Year 11 Pastoral Progress Lead, and Ms S. Lafford, Head of Year 11, who reflected on the many achievements of the cohort and wished them every success for the future. Their words captured the pride felt by staff across the school for a year group that has demonstrated maturity, resilience and commitment throughout their time with us, particularly during the recent examination period.

Following the assembly, students and staff enjoyed a special lunch on the field, providing an opportunity to share memories, sign shirts, take photographs and say their farewells. It was wonderful to see so many friendships celebrated, with plenty of smiles, laughter and a few emotional moments as students marked the end of their secondary school journey together.

Year 11 have made a valued contribution to our school community and have consistently represented the school with pride. We would like to thank them for their hard work, determination and positive attitude, and we look forward to hearing about their future successes.

We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and wish every member of the Class of 2026 the very best for the future.
Once part of our school family, always part of our school family.
Good luck, Year 11!💙
