Exceptional Work Showcase

We are so proud of our talented students!
Leah, Year 7, has created an amazing Ugly Dolls project piece. Dyar, Year 9, hand-sewed a binca-style bookmark and even made one for Mr Ward. Raiba, Year 10, produced an extra piece for her GCSE coursework, showing dedication and creativity. Amaar, Year 7, continues to impress with exceptional work and attitude, and Lunas, Year 8, designed a stunning Street Art skateboard.

Bringing Science to Life at Manchester Museum

Recently, our Year 10 Science students attended the annual Science Week Fair at Manchester Museum. The visit gave students the opportunity to explore exciting scientific ideas, discover fascinating exhibits and see how science is used in the real world.

Throughout the trip, students engaged with interactive displays and demonstrations, sparking curiosity and encouraging them to think more deeply about different areas of science. It was a fantastic experience that helped bring classroom learning to life.

Year 9 Brazilian Dance & Samba Workshops

Our Year 9 students recently took part in an exciting two-day arts experience led by local Carnival Arts organisation Global Grooves.
Students enjoyed energetic Brazilian dance and Samba drumming sessions, led by expert artists, exploring rhythm, movement and creativity while learning about Carnival culture.
Global Grooves create high-quality arts experiences that celebrate diversity, promote inclusivity and bring communities together through creativity.
It was fantastic to see our students fully engaged and embracing such a vibrant cultural experience!

Progress and Pride at Kingsway

Yesterday evening we were delighted to host our Community Interfaith Iftar at Kingsway Park High School. 🌙

The event was a great success and it was wonderful to see so many students, families and members of our community come together during the blessed month of Ramadan. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the evening meant a great deal to those who attended.

Thank you to all the staff who supported and attended the event, helping to make it such a special and meaningful occasion for our school community.

Inspiring Futures: Year 10 Students Explore Careers at JD UP

Our Year 10 students recently attended JD UP Careers, an exciting and inspiring event hosted by JD Sports at the impressive Manchester Central Convention Complex. This interactive careers experience gave students valuable insight into a wide range of industries and career pathways. Through engaging auditorium talks, hands-on activities and discovery zones, they explored opportunities in retail, marketing, logistics, and the creative industries. 
A fantastic, educational experience — we’re incredibly proud of how our students represented the school!
