Transition - Year 6 to Year 7
Starting secondary school is a really exciting step, and we are proud to welcome our new year 7 students and their families to Kingsway Park High School. At Kingsway, every child is valued as an individual and supported to achieve their goals, dreams, and ambitions. Guided by our values — We Co-operate, We Pioneer, and We Belong — we work closely with families to ensure every student feels happy, safe, and confident as they begin their journey with us. We have high expectations for all students and provide a wide range of opportunities, both inside and outside the classroom, so that every young person can thrive and truly feel that they belong as part of our school community.
We have arranged a transition evening for parents and carers on Monday 6th July 2026, where you will receive information for your young person starting in September and be able to ask any questions that you may have.
Transition Day for students is on Tuesday 7th July 2026. Further information will follow with timings.
