GCSE Photography

Introduction

At KPHS, the Photography curriculum develops students’ creative and technical skills through capturing and editing images. Students learn how to use cameras, lighting and digital tools to create purposeful photographs, exploring composition, perspective and visual storytelling.

Our curriculum encourages students to experiment with different techniques and styles, helping them to develop confidence and independence in their work. They are supported to refine their ideas, reflect on their progress and produce outcomes they are proud of. By the time they leave KPHS, students are skilled, creative and thoughtful photographers, able to express ideas visually and apply their learning in a range of contexts.
