Introduction

The Health & Social Care curriculum helps students understand how to support individuals across the human lifespan. Students explore topics such as development, health and wellbeing, and the services available to meet people’s needs. The course provides a broad and balanced understanding of the sector, preparing students for further study and future employment.

Through a range of activities, students develop important skills such as empathy, communication and problem-solving. They learn to apply their knowledge to real-life situations, building confidence and independence. By the time they leave KPHS, students are informed, compassionate individuals who are prepared to contribute positively to society and the world of work.
