Dear Parent/Carer
Year Ten Parents’ Evening Thursday 6th May 2021 - Online Appointment Booking and Interviews
As we return to some form of normality, we are excited to be able to invite you to attend our first ever online Parents’ Evening on Thursday 6th May 4.00pm - 6.30pm. The school has introduced a new intuitive and easy to use online appointment booking and interview system. This allows you to choose your own appointment times with teachers after which you will receive an email confirming your schedule. On the evening itself, you will simply log in to your account where you will then access live video interviews. (More information about how to access the interviews will be made available on our website).
This is a very important event where you will be able to meet with subject teachers and discuss the academic progress of your child. Our teachers have noted that Year 10 have worked extremely hard through this pandemic. They are looking forward to being able to celebrate the successes your child has had so far this year and discussing with you how school and home can work together to support them to ensure they meet their potential.
Year Ten are at an important stage in their GCSE courses, and it is crucial that you are aware of their current progress towards their GCSE targets. We strongly recommend that you see as many of your child’s teachers as possible so that you can continue to support them as they progress towards their GCSE exams.
Should you require, you will also have the option to make an appointment with our Year 10 Manager, Miss J Reilly and our SEND Coordinator Mrs N Griffith.
You will be able to make your appointments from 9.00am on the 27th of April and the window will close on 5th April at 4.00pm. Should you wish to make any changes after this date, please contact school so that we can resolve the issue.
Please visit https://KPHS.schoolcloud.co.uk to book your appointments. (A short guide on how to add appointments is attached to this letter.) If you do not have access to the internet, please contact school and we will be happy to help.
We are confident this will be an improvement to the previous organisation of such evenings and welcome any feedback that you may have.
Yours faithfully,
Mr C Kolbuck
Deputy Headteacher
