Five lawyers from leading North West commercial law firm Brabners visited a group of Year 10 Citizenship and RS classes to encourage more students to consider careers in the law. The visitors are led by partner Helena Davies and include a mix of solicitors and trainee solicitors who shared their experiences of working in the law. Brabners, with offices in Manchester, Leeds and Preston employing around 400 staff, is seeking to recruit lawyers from more diverse backgrounds as part of a corporate social responsibility drive.
Mr L Davies, Teacher of Social Sciences, commented “The visit has been a great success in engaging Kingsway Park High School students to consider law and the professions generally. Our students were a credit to the school and really put the Brabners team to the test with an array of challenging and thoughtful questions”. A great morning was had by all!
