Year 8 Parents Evening
We would like to invite you to our ‘hybrid’ Year 8 Parents Evening, on Thursday 24th March, to discuss your child’s progress and attitude to learning at Kingsway Park High School. We are delighted to be able to invite you back into the school building, but for those who prefer the online meetings we have decided to keep this option open to you. This is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate your child’s successes and discuss how school and home can work together to support them to ensure they meet their potential.
As you are aware, we use an online booking system to make appointments with your child’s teachers. This allows you to choose your own appointment times with teachers, after which, you will receive an email confirming your schedule. It is extremely important that you keep to this schedule. As previously mentioned, you may choose to have a remote meeting or attend in person at the school. The following are the times allocated to each session - please book on one session only.
4.00pm – 5.00pm remote session online.
5.05pm – 6.30pm in person, at Kingsway Park High School.
Please do not arrive at the school without an appointment as this may result in you not seeing all your child’s teachers.
Should you require, you will also have the option to make an appointment with our Year 8 Managers, Ms L Parker and Mrs J Gansler. Our SEND Coordinator, Ms C Eaton-Caswell will also be available. You will be able to make your appointments from 4.00pm on Friday 4 March and the window will close on Thursday 24 March @ 4.00pm. Should you wish to make any changes after this time, or need further help, please contact Ms A Taylor at the school so that we can resolve the issue.
