Dear Parent/Carer,
I am writing to you to confirm that, as expected, Kingsway Park High School has now formally become part of Altus Education Partnership. As you know this is a multi-academy trust that includes Rochdale Sixth Form College and Edgar Wood Academy, giving us a real local presence.
We have worked closely with RSFC for over 10 years now and in that time nearly 1000 pupils have progressed to the college from Kingsway - the very large majority of them moving on successfully to university and/or high-quality apprenticeships and employment. This kind of connected approach to education is at the heart of what we want to offer going forward as all partners in Altus share the view that education serves futures and we all place this at the heart of our provision.
I want to reassure you that there should be no sudden changes – we are not changing our name for example – and we will continue to work closely with this community in all circumstances, we are your school first and foremost and this will always be the case. This partnership is about developing our offer and improving it, not changing our purpose in any way.
