Free School Meals Update

The government recently announced a free school meal voucher scheme providing eligible families with a £15 supermarket voucher.  Codes will be provided by schools for parents/carers to redeem at one of six supermarkets: Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Sainsburys, Marks & Spencer and Waitrose.  At short notice, it was extended to include the Easter holidays.

The first allocation of vouchers was sent at the end of last week and a further 2 weeks-worth should arrive later this week.  If you are eligible for free school meals and have filled in the form on the school website with your email address then you should have received a code by now.  Please check your junk folder if you haven’t received anything.  If you have not yet filled in the form please do so but do not duplicate as it delays the process.  If you do not have an email address please contact the school by phone 01706 716761.

The company administering the vouchers, Edenred, have been overwhelmed by the demand and we are experiencing delays with ordering and redeeming vouchers.  Please keep trying and attempt to login after normal business hours when the website is not as busy.

Any problems please e-mail fsm@nullkingswaypark.org

Yours faithfully
