Curriculum Social Science
Curriculum Intent
Social Studies is a blend of Religious Studies, Citizenship and PSHE. We study the social sciences in order to nurture the natural human need to enquire and ask questions about our existence and the meaning of life. Within the subject we aim to enable students to apply historical, philosophical, theistic and political ideas to an ever-changing world. We seek to develop students as thoughtful global citizens who embrace debate on all belief systems, including British Values, without prejudice.
