Topic Intent:

Students will investigate a wide variety of contemporary and modern artists and crafts people which will inspire their artistic journey, helping them develop their drawing, painting, printmaking and sculptural skills.

Students will progress through their own A4 sketchbook

AO1, AO2, AO3, AO4 – Each Assessment Objective is work 25% (24 marks each) for a total of 96.

AO1 - Artist investigation – Anne Brooke, Angie Lewin, Stephanie Redfern. 

AO2 – Experimentation with materials and techniques

AO3 – Analysing, annotation and recording ideas.

AO4 - Personal responses. This can be final outcomes or drawings/paintings and 3D work that students have created based on their own ideas.
